The ‘finish and polish’ of your plan involves having other people review and comment on it. Use that feedback to address questions asked by these individuals and make the plan easier to understand.

Try to avoid however making the plan an educational document introducing people totally unfamiliar with your industry to your market and offerings.

If that level of information is needed, it is better to provide attachments written by associations or other sources to help those readers get up to speed on your industry.
