Section 4 - Marketing and Sales Plan

In some business plan outlines, two sections are used to describe your marketing and sales approach. One section is dedicated to researching and analyzing the overall marketing. The other section provides more details on your customers and your strategies to market and sell to them.

Before beginning on this section, it is important that you've completed a first pass of the earlier business plan sections - namely the title page should be completed, Section 2 Company Information should be completed, and most importantly Section 3 should outline what products and/or services you intend to sell.

If those are not done yet, you are falling behind and it is recommended to go back now and complete those sections before moving on to Section 4 Marketing and Sales Plan.
