Week3 - Marketing Plan

Marketing Plan Table

You should be able to copy and paste the tables below into your Word document plan. Then fill these out as you gather information. As you complete your plan, you can go back and add some descriptive paragraphs as needed before and after these tables to help readers understand your approach.

Competitor Analysis Table

The final part of your Marketing and Sales Plan might require listing specific sales steps you will perform to complete a sales. For example, if doing industrial sales might have to:

  1. Call potential customers - setup appointment
  2. Send email confirming appointment
  3. Perform sales call
  4. Follow-up with additional information
  5. Send sample
  6. Call for order

This type of step-by-step sales process will give readers more confidence that you have thought of how you will close sales. This applies to retail stores as well, but would be basic customer service steps like 'greet customer at door', 'ask what they are shopping for', offering to help, etc.
